34 HOURS AND COUNTING.....

We can hardly believe it but in approximately 34 hours from right now we will be boarding a plane for takeoff from Raleigh, North Carolina to begin our long journey to be united with our long-awaited daughter, Kassidy. Nikki's dad, Steve, will be getting here sometime tomorrow evening and we will get everything packed up in the car and ready to leave the house by 3 AM
Thursday morning. Billy's parents, Bill and Marty, will be housesitting for us and we cannot wait to show her off to them when we get back. The showing off part is going to be soooo fun. I so look forward to her first trips to worship service, both in NC and WV. While we are glad we waited to have a baby until now, we are so ready for her now that it is finally going to happen. Hopefully, we will be able to get a little bit of sleep before we head off to the airport as we are not sure how much sleeping we will get done on the planes. For all of those who suggested we get a lot of bows, trust me we did and we can't wait to put them in her hair and send some of the first pictures we get of her to the blog where we can share her with all of our friends and family. We wish we could just take a whole airplane full of everyone with us but I guess we will just have to wait until we get back and get to as many of you as we can in the coming weeks/months. We will try and post tomorrow one last time and then we will try our best to consistently post journals and updates of what we are doing on a daily basis while in China and of course post as many pictures of Kassidy as we can. We are so blessed to have the friends and families that we do and cannot wait to share this most exciting part of our lives with you.
