- We are Billy and Nikki and have been married for 9 years. Life is great, but there was one thing missing! A child in our life. Therefore, over three years ago we decided to adopt a baby from China and have been waiting for her ever since. We can't wait to receive our referral packet with information and photos of our new baby. A very long pregnancy. Our stay in China will be 2 weeks. We will keep you up to date with photos and our daily updates through this blog. We are very fortunate to have family and friends support us as we venture out to go from being a couple to a family. We want to thank our family and friends for their warm and heart felt responses and interest. They say it takes a village to raise a child...We have an incredible "village" family and friends that really care and support us. Thanks for helping us "Bring Kassidy Home." Billy and Nikki xoxoxo

You all look lovely together, Nikki! Kassidy looks right on target for her age-sitting, eating solids, a couple of little sticking through the bottom gum! Adorable! I can't wait for you two to get home, for she and Gilead to be good friends, and for our shower next weekend! Safe travels, and remember that Benedryl can be a very good friend on that LONG plane ride home! ;)
