- We are Billy and Nikki and have been married for 9 years. Life is great, but there was one thing missing! A child in our life. Therefore, over three years ago we decided to adopt a baby from China and have been waiting for her ever since. We can't wait to receive our referral packet with information and photos of our new baby. A very long pregnancy. Our stay in China will be 2 weeks. We will keep you up to date with photos and our daily updates through this blog. We are very fortunate to have family and friends support us as we venture out to go from being a couple to a family. We want to thank our family and friends for their warm and heart felt responses and interest. They say it takes a village to raise a child...We have an incredible "village" family and friends that really care and support us. Thanks for helping us "Bring Kassidy Home." Billy and Nikki xoxoxo

Angel told me the news and I finally got a chance to see all your pics......she is beautiful!! Congratulations to the both of you!! I know you are pinching yourself every day to see if it is real. Give me a call when you get back and things settle down, she can have a playmate.....did Angel tell you I have Justin's son for a year while he and his girlfriend are in Iraq; 9 months old, so they can play together. Again, congrats and I cant wait to see her.
