Our daughter was the same way. She only wanted to drink from a bottle. When we got home our ped recommended we stay on formula for awhile (not knowing her nutrition to date), so it worked great for her. She got enough fluids from that and transitioned to a sippy cup as she wanted. She would also overeat to the point of spitting up on a daily basis. We kept giving her food, and she learned to self regulate. We felt like there might have been times when she was hungry and didn't get food or she was just testing us or she was experimenting with new tastes. In any case, you'll figure out what's best for your child and what works for her! Parenting is such an adventure ;-)
We are Billy and Nikki and have been married for 9 years. Life is great, but there was one thing missing! A child in our life. Therefore, over three years ago we decided to adopt a baby from China and have been waiting for her ever since. We can't wait to receive our referral packet with information and photos of our new baby. A very long pregnancy. Our stay in China will be 2 weeks. We will keep you up to date with photos and our daily updates through this blog.
We are very fortunate to have family and friends support us as we venture out to go from being a couple to a family. We want to thank our family and friends for their warm and heart felt responses and interest. They say it takes a village to raise a child...We have an incredible "village" family and friends that really care and support us. Thanks for helping us "Bring Kassidy Home."
